Are you interested in becoming a physical therapist?

Physical therapists are primary care professionals who work in a variety of settings, such as rehabilitation centers, hospitals, community health centers, and private clinics in both rural and urban areas.

The Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of British Columbia is the only entry-to-practice program in BC and now accepts 100 students over two sites. UBC Master of Physical Therapy students gain over a thousand hours of clinical education experience from exceptional faculty and clinicians in a variety of settings around the province.

The UBC Master of Physical Therapy program is taught on two campuses, UBC in Vancouver and UNBC in Prince George. The students who are interested in practicing physical therapy in rural and remote communities should apply for the UBC MPT-North cohort, which is based at UNBC in Prince George and focuses on rural practice.
