In order to be successful in the MPT program and to access required online learning activities, you will need a modern laptop computer. Tablet computers, Chromebooks, or devices running on Android or Linux operating systems are not recommended for the program as many eLearning modules may not run or be accessible on those.
You will also need to use one of the supported browsers for the learning management system, Canvas, and have up-to-date versions of Flash and JAVA installed. More details can be found in A Student’s Guide to Canvas.
It is highly recommended that you ensure your laptop is “MPT ready” prior to starting the program! This will save you valuable time once courses have begun.
