What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Assisting clients to achieve their movement goals through education, reassurance and practice.
Why does physiotherapy matter?
As educators, we can inform our clients through knowledge and assist them in managing their symptoms. We can provide an understanding of anatomy and physiology, pain science and movement while encouraging clients to overcome their impairments. Their success is powerful.
What drew you to physical therapy?
The opportunity to assist individuals with various levels of disability, in particular with ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) and SCI (Spinal Cord Injury) populations.
What is one thing we might be surprised to learn about you?
I am very much into gardening. The growing is the easy part, my goal is to be better at canning and preserving the crops I produce to enjoy throughout the year.
