The Rehab Job Fair is on the horizon! Our annual job fair is the ideal opportunity for private clinics and public health authorities to showcase their business and culture to MPT and MOT students. It is a joint PT/OT event where potential employers can network with the students. This year the event is being sponsored in-part by CPTBC and PABC. We thank them for their continued support!
This year the event will be June 6, 2018 4-8pm in the AMS Nest Great Hall.

Another event connecting students with the physiotherapy community will be held the preceding evening at the Coppertank Grill from 5:30-7:30. It will be a fun and fast-paced mixer where you will have the opportunity to impart your pearls of wisdom to us, the next generation, whilst enjoying a beverage in a casual atmosphere. The PT student society (PTSS) invites you to celebrate Physiotherapy Month and raise money for the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada by participating in the Physio Fun Run 2018 on Saturday, May 26! It is a 5K run starting at Jericho beach and will be a great way to connect with future PTs. We are also pleased to announce the first annual UBC Physiotherapy Tennis Open Friday, July 20th, 2018! This event is open to all current UBC MPT students, practicing physiotherapists, industry suppliers, as well as all other allied health professionals. The UBC Physiotherapy Tennis Open is a 32 team doubles tournament hosted at the UBC Tennis Centre. All skill levels are welcome to join!
We will be following up with a fun social at Gerald McGavin Centre for food and drinks! This event will be an opportunity for new graduates and practicing physical therapists in BC to network, promote the profession and have some fun! Tickets will be going on sale at the end of April, we hope to see you out!
