Post-doctoral fellow, John Best, invited speaker for the 1st International Congress on Executive Functions

John Best, a Canadian Institutes of Health Research & Michael Smith For Health Research Post-doctoral fellow, supervised by Teresa Liu-Ambrose, is an invited speaker for the 1st International Congress on Executive Functions in Stuttgart, Germany. It is being organized by an interdisciplinary team of researchers at the Transfer Center for Neuroscience and Learning at the University of Ulm in Germany. His invited talk on executive function across the lifespan and its relation to critical outcomes, ranging from academic achievement to obesity. He will also talk about experiential and environmental factors that may promote executive function, including physical activity, environmental enrichment, and a nurturing family environment.
