Congratulations to Babak Shadgan, a PhD candidate supervised by Dr. Darlene Reid. He was awarded one of 26 International Society for Optics & Photonics (SPIE) Scholarships and the “D.J. Lovell Award”, the largest and most prestigious of the society’s award. Babak was awarded the Scholarship based on his potential for long-range contribution to optics and photonics, or a related discipline.
