Welcome to North Shore Sports Medicine where our goal is excellence in all we do for you. Starting from our Deep Cove location over 25 years ago, we have grown to three clinics in North Vancouver, including Brooksbank and Capilano University, to better serve your healthcare needs. Over the years we have expanded our services to include:
Registered Massage Therapy
We also offer a Fellowship Program that provides comprehensive private practice experience to graduate physiotherapists who want to gain specialization in the care of an active population in a community private practice environment. Mentors all have from 5-20+ years of experience with their Part Bs or sports physiotherapy designations.
Patient population description:
Patient population consists of mostly private, with some ICBC, WCB, all ages, though we do get proportionally more athletes than a regular physio clinic.

D Paige Larson, BScPT, BPE, Certificate in Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Certified in Acupuncture, Sports Physiotherapist
Paige’s skills and excellence in her field has been recognized by her selection as a physiotherapist to support VANOC, Canadian national, Olympic and Paralympic teams, the World Figure Skating Championships and top-tier athletes. Paige is the founder and owner of North Shore Sports Medicine, having grown the business from a single, two-bed facility to three clinics with more than 25 clinicians and staff. In 2010, as a small business owner, Paige won the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year Award for consistent development of her clinics and volunteer efforts beyond her professional responsibilities.
Ramsey Ezzat, BScPT, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified in Acupuncture, Registered Physiotherapist
Ramsey brings exceptional experience and a broad range of skills to our clinic, as well as experience as an athlete, all of which gives him insight into the rehabilitation process from the perspectives of both the therapist and the patient. Because he finds mentorship and education very rewarding he is both Clinical skills assistant and a Clinical Instructor for the UBC School of Rehabilitation Sciences. Ramsey was awarded the Tamalge E. Hunt Gold Medal in Physical therapy from the University of Saskatchewan as the program's most distinguished graduating student. He is currently pursuing his advanced diploma in Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Tara Lazarski, MScPT, HONS BKin, Certified in Acupuncture, Sports Physiotherapist
Tara's physiotherapy and training skills led to her serving as a field therapist for several of McMaster University's sports teams, the Ontario Provincial Cycling Team, and with several national and professional road and mountain bike athletes. She currently provides physiotherapy for the Canadian National Cycling Team, including at the 2012 Olympics, as well as various North Shore teams and athletes.

The students who join us on placement will have exposure to a growing list of services such as Acupuncture, Kinesiology, Pilates, Gym Rehab and Women’s Health. You can learn from our Education Coordinator, Ramsey Ezzat and can take part in our in-services run by our various practitioners.
By the end of the placement, students are expected to have their own caseload where they will have the opportunity to build hand-on experience in a supportive learning environment.
This program also gives the student exposure to our Fellowship Program and the benefits of a structured work/learn environment.

The physiotherapist will learn in a multidisciplinary setting that includes registered massage therapists, kinesiologists, Pilates instructors and a registered dietitian.
