Lifetime prevention services

Clinical Associate Professor Diana Dawes, a member of the Lifetime Prevention Schedule Expert Oversight Committee, is pleased to announce the release of the 2016 report update. The report looks at clinical prevention services for people in B.C. These include screening, behavioral interventions (advice) and preventive medications provided by a health care provider, based on age and sex. The LPS Reports show priorities for these services in B.C. by examining each service’s clinical effectiveness, population health impact and cost effectiveness.

This report is available on the BC Government website.  Also available is the LPS Graphic Tool which explains the services in B.C. that currently have supporting guidelines and the full list of assessed services.
