Janice Eng awarded a Tier I Canada Research Chair

Dr. Eng  is internationally recognized as a leader in rehabilitation research  and was awarded a Canada Research Chair, Tier 1, for her outstanding and innovative  accomplishments that have made a major impact. Her impact extends beyond her own research as she has trained and mentored a numerous students, postdoctoral fellows and clinicians who have gone on to contribute their expertise to research and clinical care.

Also, Dr. Eng was one of UBC’s first recipients of CIHR’s new Foundation Scheme grants.  She was awarded ~$2.5 million over 7 years for her Foundation research program entitled, “Optimizing and maintaining abilities after stroke” and she is currently a featured researcher on the CIHR website.
