On Wednesday, November 18th members of the Brain Behaviour lab will share their knowledge of the neurophysiological effects of yoga practice at World of Science as part of their “Grownup Science Workshop Series”  Doctoral candidate, Katie Wadden will present data gathered from a partnership project with lulumon athletica. This innovative partnership was developed to bridge the gap between academics and industry, introducing scientific rigor into the investigation of the effects of yoga on the mind-body connection. The researchers will explain their scientific journey that led them to evaluate the emotional response of yogis and recreational athletes through state of the art neurophysiology measures. The evening will conclude with a Hatha yoga class. Register for this event on the World of Science website.
